Domed labels (also known as bubble labels) are extremely durable, soft to the touch and give a 3D finish.

Aluminium badges are available in a number of exclusive finishes and surface treatments. We can use standard dye colours for anodising or colour matched inks for embossed badges. Furthermore, aluminium badges can be sequentially numbered.

Electroformed badges are ideal for premium brands where accuracy is essential to reproduce logos in fine detail. They come in a number of finishes, including chromium, gold plated, diamond cut and holographic effects.

Injection moulded badges have a strong visual impact and are extremely versatile so they can be used in both internal and external environments.

Roll form labels are ideal for model or serial number labelling. It’s a cost-effective solution as lead times are short and set up costs minimal.

Biomedical labels use Microban, which is added to the polyester during the manufacturing process. It offers lifetime protection, working continuously to inhibit the growth of microbes, such as bacteria, mould and mildew that can cause infections such as MRSA and CDI.

Q: How do you make a chrome plate badge?

A: Using thermoplastic material and decorative foils.

To make a chrome plate badge we inject molten styrene or ABS thermoplastic under pressure into a female form tool. Once this has cooled, we then apply the decorative foil to finish the chrome plate badge, giving it a high-quality 3D finish.

Q: How do you make fascia panels?

A: We use the following widely accepted, industry standard, process.

Our fascia panels and graphic overlays use a range of materials – such as polycarbonate, polyester and vinyl – and printing technologies.

Using colour matched inks, we screen-print the design onto the underneath of the fascia panels to create an image that reads correctly from the front. Depending on the application, a high performance adhesive and release liners are then applied, which are then laminated to the rear.

Q: Should I choose a membrane keypad or a graphic overlay?

A: Depends on the application and whether switches are required.

Membrane keypads are sometimes preferable to graphic overlays because they have an additional benefit of incorporating a thin, flexible, circuit layer complete with ribbon and connector.

Graphic overlays can include windows for illuminated displays or for LEDs. If it includes a membrane switch, we can selectively emboss or resin dome the graphic overlays for increased physical feedback. Furthermore, we have a wide range of base materials and can colour match your graphic overlay to reflect your branding.

All our overlays and membrane switches are durable and wipe clean. They also use a variety of base materials such as polycarbonate, polyester and vinyl. We have a number of adhesives to suit the environment in which your graphic overlay will be used.
